To report an absence, please email jmi.attendance@edison.k12.nj.us.

In addition to reporting the absence to the email address above, you may also:

• call the school at 732-452-2960 and press 1 at the prompt.

• email your child's homeroom teacher(s)

District Attendance Policy

Tardies

If your child is going to be late, please email jmi.attendance@edison.k12.nj.us. When dropping your child off at school, you must:

• park your car in a parking spot in the lot. Please do not park illegally or block spaces.

• walk your child to the front door and ring the bell located on the right side of the door.

• use your cell phone to scan the QR code by the door to document your child's arrival at school and reason for the tardy.

Only students are allowed to enter the building.

Early Pick Up

If your child is going to be picked up early, please call the school at 732-452-2960 and press 8 to connect to the main office. In addition to calling the main office, can you also email your child's homeroom teacher(s).

When picking your child up early, you must:

• park your car in a parking spot in the lot. Please do not park illegally or block spaces.

• ring the bell located on the right side of the door to connect to the main office.

• use your cell phone to scan the QR code by the door to document your child's early departure from school and reason for leaving school early.

• present your ID to a JMI staff member when asked.

Students will not be allowed to be picked up early after 3:10 since it will interfere with dismissal procedures.
